As you are not only a good boss but also a good friend to me. I would like to explain why and also some suggestion for you, which as below:
1.I have been working here for a period of time, however until now I do not have any breakthrough in my job. I am awfully sorry about this.
2. During these days working here, I did not get any formal training about the technology, which makes me not confident about our products. For example it is hard for me to know the raw material used for our products and to handle the quotation.
3.Other people thought me been worked here for a quite long time, actually it is not enough long for me to fit well.
4.For some reasons, there is not a finished product for Chinese market, so I think for now preparing work is the main point for a sales director, but not that hurry to get real business.
Considering above-mentioned situation, I think I am not the right person for this position. I wish there is a great achievements for you and your company in the near future. I am writing this letter to apply a leaving on Aug 17th.

considering your outstanding leadership and our friendship, i would like to share the following suggestions with you:
1.i am sorry for the business's standstill after my assuming of this position.
2.My duration in this company is everything but short from every aspect, however, i have never accepted a systematic technology training before. consequently, the insufficiency of our products' information, such as facilities required and the price etc. made me difficult to operate and deal with our customers.
3.i cannot fit our company's new environment well due to the much faster style i used to in my former company.
4.For many reasons, we do not have any domestic market targeted products and I think our company is still in a phase of searching Chinese market and i can not locate any direct progress brought by the position of sales manager.
For these reasons, i feel this position does not fit me and hope you could find a better man for this position. I also expect a brilliant furture of our company. i will not quit till 17th Aug (Fri). Looking forwards to your approval.呵呵 楼主好运哦

Because I treat you as a very good friend and leader，So I want to tell some reasons and my own opinions to you as follows:
1.I've been in the company for a long time,but the businiess hasn't been improved,so I am sorry about that.
2. During these time ，I had not receive any formal technical- train, so customers face is the lack of knowledge products, such as the need to offer the equipment and so on, I often have difficult to separate the implementation and operation.
3.It might be that I had worked at my former company for a long time so that I have a hard time to adapt to the fast-paced environment.So think I am not suit it here.
4. For different reasons, there are not any products aiming at the domestic market and I think it is still in a search phase. So I think the position of sales manager cannot bring direct progress.
5.Beacuse of above resons,I realized that I am not suitble for this job,wishing you find a more suitble person,also sincerely hope that the performance of the company will be better and better.I hope to continue working to August 17th(Friday).Waiting to hear from you.

Because you be very 1 leadership and friend, so I reason and some opinion and you say once and as follows:
1:At company a period of time, business didn't°yet breakthrough of make progress, to this I feel keenly sorry.
2 in this time inside I also didn't accept to take up a post what regular technique training, so face the time of customer still a want for a product cognition, for example demand of device and offer etc., usually another I be very difficult go to implement and operation.
3 may think I at past of company time be long, the rhythm be quicker, so also have a little unwell should.
4 because of various reason, now haven't aim at China the finished product of the market, so my felling possibility the present stage still keep being placed in to grope for period, sale manager's this post return can't creation direct effect.
Because of above various reason, I feel possibility I isn't suitable for this post, hope you ability find out more in keeping with of candidate.Also the Chong heart hope company accomplishment make rapid progress.My hope attain August 17 numbers(Friday).Hope an approval.

As you are a very kind leader and friend to me,I would like to tell you some opinion and causation:
1.I have been here for a period of time,but the operation of commpany hasn't evolved significantly,I feel so sorry about that.
2.I haven't got any normal techno-training in this period,so I feel lacking cognize to production when I face to the client,such as the equipment required and the quoted price and so on.Sometimes it makes me very diffcult to implement and operate.
3.Maybe I feel like a fish out of water for I had been a long time in myprevenient company.I can't adapt the faster cadence here.
4 Due to various reasons, there was not product aimed at the Chinese market , so I think this time should still be the exploratory period, the position of sales manager still can not create a direct effect.
AS the above reasons, I feel that maybe I was not suitable for the position, I hope you will find a more suitable candidate. And I sincerely hope that the performance of the company thriving.
