When you go into the country, listen to the birds singing!Most birds sing.They all sing different songs, but the song we know best is the cheep-cheep of the sparrow.
There are many kinds of birds.They all have two wings which they spread out as they fly.They have a tail which helps them to keep their ballance.With their two sharp eyes they look for insects.They dig out worms with their strong beaks.
Birds build nests for their young in the spring .Many birds build them in trees or hedges,and lay eggs there.
