we undestand that our obligation to pay the entire tuition for the full academic year and all incidental expenses incurred by the studen is uncondition, and that no portion of such fees,paid or outstanding, will be refunded or canceled, notwithstanding the subsequent absence, dismissal or withdrawal of the student for any reason. those signing this contract for the student agree that upon the failure to pay any obligation due hereunder, the entire obligation is due without further notice. demand or presentment for payment, and agree that jurisdiction to file any suit hereunder is in the circuit and district courts for queen anne's county, maryland, and agree to pay all costs of collection, and attorney's feein the amount of twenty-five percent of the amount claimed, if uncontested, and if contested, the actual costs thereof, and authorize any attorney of record to appear and confess judgment for the above amounts.together with interest,costs and all exemptions waived.
interest at the rate of one percent per month will be charged on any delinquent tuition payments and monthly billings to the comprehensive account for other fees and charges. if tuition changes or fees are in arrears ,gunston day school reserves the right to deny the student's access to classes, withhold promotion, graduation, as well as the student'sgrades and transcripts until such time as all fees and charges are paid in full.
we understand that in signing this contract, we are agreeing to accept the rules of gunston day school regarding the conduct and discipline, and the policies of the student handbook, and agree to cooperate with and assist the school in securing compliance by the named student. gunston day school reserves the right to add to,amend, or delete these rules and regulations without notice to the parent named in this contract. gunston day school cannot be responsible for damages to or loss of personal property. gunston day school expressly disclaims any responsibility for the use of automobiles by students in violation of the school's automobile rules.
this contract may be cancelled in writing without penalty(other than forfeiture of the deposit prior to june 30. if enrollment is cancelled after june 30, parents or guardians are obligated to pay the full annual tuition charges.
this contract is to be construed in accordance with maryland law.
i hereby pennit the school to use, in whole or in part, photographs, videos, written extractions,and voice recordings of my child for the purpose of illustrations, publications, and web sites. further, i hereby pemit the school to notify local newspapers of my child's academic, athletic, and other special achievement.
i hereby perimit the school to publish all directory information in both the online directory accessible through the school web site and the hard cope directory provided to every schoolfamily and staff member.
