1、indeed 意为“事实上,实际上,的确,确实,真的”,与in fact/as a matter of fact、actually近义,副词(adv.)
eg.I can sing.
a.Indeed(实际上),he could have saved the boy.
b.He could have saved the boy indeed(实际上).
c.He indeed(真的) could save the boy.
d.He could indeed(真的)save the boy.
Indeed, he could finish the job ahead of time.
He could indeed get there on time.
