一般来说.不定式表示在谓语动词之后发生的动作，表示未完成的动作。改为定语从句常用将来时态;现在分词表示正在进行的动作或与谓语动词几乎同时发生的动作,改为定语从句多用进行时态或一般时态;过去分词表示先于谓语动词发生的动作,改为定语从句多用完成时态;动名词则表示所修饰词的用途,不能改为定语从句,常用“(use)for doing”的形式作后置定语。现举例如下: He has a fishing rod.—a rod for fishing(动名词) He has two letters to write-一letters which will write.(不定式) The teacher standing there will gave us a report.一the teacher who is standing there will gave us a report…(现在分词) ’they’re problems left over by history.一they’re problems which have been left by history过去分词)

The meetingt held yesterday is very important.
昨天开的会很重要（ 过去分词 表完成 被动）

The meeting being held now is very important
现在正在开的会很重要 （现在分词表进行）

The meeting to be held tomorrow is very important.
明天将要开的会很重要 （不定式表将来）

This is a dancing hall. 这是个舞厅（动名词，表 作用 功能）
