要区分可以先把quite 去掉较容易分别few意为“几乎没有”其后面是跟可数名词；little意为“几乎没有”其后面是跟不可数名词（两者均为否定词）a few意为“一些”其后面是跟可数名词； a little 意为“一点”其后面是跟不可数名词a lot意为“很多”a bit= a little 意为“一点”
many 和much .都是表示很多的意思，其中many修饰可数名词， much修饰不可数名词如There are many students in the classroom如I have much money lots of 和a lot of 都是表示很多的意思，这两个词组既可以修饰可数名词还可以修饰不可数名词，他们两个是一样的few表示几乎没有，表否定a few 表示有一点有肯定的意思后接可数名词little和a little也是表示的和few 的用法相同，但是它们只能修饰不可数名词的，
a few+名词复数 一些 quite a few=a good=a great many 相当多 e.g Quite a few of them are busy doing their homework in the classroom few 也表示少，但有几乎没有的意思 some 和 many 用法基本一样，many可以和so 连用，so many，但是some不可以
