一、一说到“地铁”的英文单词
大家是不是脑海里会蹦出来好多个不同的地铁呀？下面带你了解一下~
1、subway
其实我们的英语口语中好像用的最多的一个，其实也是美国用的比较多的原因（美音还是比较popular的）；不过在英式英语中有另外的意思是“过街地下通道”的意思；
2、Tube
英国地铁,主要也是指伦敦地铁；
不过tube本意还有“管；电子管；隧道；电视机”的意思。
3、metro
往往指伦敦地铁，Metro，原特指巴黎地铁 Métropolitain，后来广泛流传到欧洲各地，该词也因而从法语进入英语，故在英语里指地铁的时候，所以还是偏英式哦~
4、underground
一般就是特指英国地铁，其他国家和城市的地铁用的比较少了，其实并不特别常用的，要在其他地方说的话最好说全了 Underground Railway。
