有这个用法，但不是固定搭配。from now的意思是从现在起，从今以后。也可以说其他的时间，比如from the year 2010，from yesterday。from now on是固定搭配。
例句：
Please don't, if you are up here, become complacent because a month from now we will have another test.
如果你考得不错的话，请不要自满,因为在一个月后我们将还有一次测试。
I think if we look back, five years from now, it won't be nearly as clear how you separate what those products are.
回顾五年前，这些产品的区分,不像这么明显。

from now是从现在开始，不属于固定搭配，from后面加时间表示从什么时候开始……，比如，I have to do my homework from now(我不得不现在开始做作业了）也可以用其他时间，比如"I started learning Korean from the year of 2008"(我2008年开始学韩语的）
而from now on是一个固定搭配，是“从今以后”的意思，有一种决心在里面。比如“From now on, I won't go to play footbal at night,I promise."(我发誓从今以后再也不在夜里踢足球了。）追问
