My Birthday
A few days ago , I declared among my classmates (that) this weekend would be my birthday.When I was doing this,my eyes were fixed upon my close friend Tom on purpose.Yet he drooped his head deeply at the sight of mine,which made me feel very disappointed.
Days passed quickly，and the long-expected weekend came at last.Since it was weekend,we didn't need to go to school.I climbed up lazily after a long night of sleeping.Only then did I realized that the most part of the morning had gone.The outdoor seemed to be a little tranquil. “Today is my birthday,maybe I have to have it by myself.”I murmured to myself.Suddenly,a knock came from the door."Open the door,please!"Some children cried out from outside.I hurried to opened the door.Oh,Tom and other classmates came here for my birthday. “You are welcome!”I said cheerfully,letting them in.Tom put a big piece of birthday cake on the table,Kate put up some cards on the wall,and John hung up some comic books on the wall.All of them sang birthday songs for me.I felt I was the happest child in the world. After a while ,John whispered to me that Tom had worked as a part-time author for a few nights so that he could afford the cake.Hearing this,I felt very sorry and knew why he drooped his head then.What a big person!Tom!I hugged him eagerly,tears coming to my eyes.本回答被网友采纳
