TOEFL：托福（TOEFL）。是海外留学考试的一种。全名可为检定非英语为母语者的英语能力考试The Test of English as a Foreign Language，由ETS举办。“托福”(TOEFL)是用以测试您的北美英语水平能力的考试。托福由位于新泽西州普林斯顿的教育测试中心命题和管理，该中心是一个私营的非盈利机构. 如果您的母语不是英语，部分专科学院都会有一定的入学托福成绩要求。但是，在托福考高分并不意味着您就会被录取或者保证有一个很好的学术前景。
