The Spring Festival
The Spring Festival,Chinese New Year,is the
most important festival for all of us.All family members get together
on New Year'Eve to have a big meal.At the same time,everyone celebrates
to each other.At about 12 o'clock,some parents and children light
crackers.The whole sky is lighted brightly.We may watch the fireworks
excitedly.How busy it is!
On the first early moring of one year,many
senior citizen get up early and they stick the reversed Fu or hang some
couplets on the front door.Some house's windows are sticked on red paper
cutlings.
The Chinese New Year lasts fifteen days.So during the
fifteen days,we always visit our relatives from door to door.At that
time,children are the happiest because they can get many red packets
form their parents,grandparents,uncles,aunts and so on.The last day of
the Chinese New Year is another festival.It names the Lantern Festival.
So the Chinese New Year comes to the end.

The Mid-Autumn Festival
The Mid-Autumn is a very important Chinese festival. It falls on the 15th day of August. A few days before the festival, everyone in the family will help to make the house clean and beautiful. Lanterns will be hung in front of the house.
On the evening there will be a big family dinner. People who work far away from their homes will try to come back for the union. After dinner, people will light the lanterns which are usually red and round. Children will play with their own toy lanterns happily.
At night the moon is usually round and bright. People can enjoy the moon while eating moon-cakes which are the special food for this festival. They can look back on the past and look forward to the future together. It is said that there was a dragon in the sky. The dragon wanted to swallow up the moon. To protect the frighten the dragon away.

The Spring festival is the most important festival in China.
It is on January 1st according to the Chinese lunar calendar.
It's China's New year's Day So usually a month before the
festiva,people begin to buy food clothes and decorations for
houses.
On New Year Eve,each family will gather together eating,

are the happiest of all because they can get presents from
