Occasionally,some Americams will sit with their feet on the desk.Once I went to an American bank to close my account before I left America.While talking with me,the bank manager put his feet with leather shoes onto the desk.When Ireturned home,I still could not forgive him for such behavior,thinking maybe he looked down on me because of my small savings or for being Chinese.Later I came to know that an American's putting his feet on his desk shows he is comfortable.However,for Latin Americans or Asians,such behavior is rude and arrogant.
