Recently our class had a heated discussion about whether middle school students should admirefamous stars.
Sixty percent of the students approve of the idea of admiring famous stars. They believe whenthey talk about the stars they like, they are excited, happy and relaxed. Some even think famous starshave talents which should be copied. Besides, they think only by admiring famous stars can they beup-to-date with fashion and leam about other cultures.
However, other students are against this. They think admiring stars is a waste of time andmoney, and that people can get easily lost in this. Some students even copy the bad examples of the stars and so fall into bad habits In my opinion, it's really ridiculous for students to go crazy about stars. Everyone is unique andthere is no point in copying anyone else, however famous they are.
