此题容易误选D： hear sb. doing sth. 听见某人在做某事。但由于这里用的是he,人称代词的主格，所以不可能是hear后跟复合宾语（宾语+宾语补足语），只能理解成hear后跟一个从句。其实干扰项C还可以去掉to,成为C。 play,更有陷阱！因为有hear sb. do sth.的结构，但这里因为he的原因，不可能（hear he do sth.), 又因为有last night, 也不可能是 I heard (that) he plays ... ,
B也可以排除。
如此题将he改为Tom,则有AD两个答案。如将he改为him,则只能选D

所以he played the piano in the room last night整个句子是宾语从句，
因为是last night，所以动词是一般过去时played~~
