宾语从句中that一般情况可省 ,但也并不是任何情况下都可以省略.
具体如下：
宾语从句
1． 定义：用作宾语的从句叫宾语从句.
2． 构成：关联词+简单句
从属连词that.如：
He told us that he felt ill.他对我们说他感到不舒服.
一.that可省略的情况：
I know (that）he has returned.我知道他已经回来了.(that省略)
注:宾语从句中that一般情况可省 ,但that在引导宾语从句时也并不是任何情况下都可以省略.
二.that不可省略的情况：
1.在主语从句、表语从句、同位语从句中(除宾语从句),that 不能省.　
①That the seas are being overfished has been known for years.(主语从句)
②The truth is that nobody knows who invented eyeglasses.(表语从句)
③We have to face the fact that land is fragile.(同位语从句)
2.在it作形式宾语的宾语从句前,that不可省.
They found it difficult that they would finish their work in two days.　
3.在由and或or所连接的两个宾语从句时,第一个从句中的that可以省;而第二个从句中的that不能省.　
It is depressing to think (that) life is purposeless and that evolution has no higher destination.\x0d　　
4.在agree,argue,hold,learn,observe,remark,suggest,indicate,conceive这种比较正式的书面语的谓语动词后,that不可省略.
