七年级英语书上的一个文段，有几处不懂。高手进来帮我呀

文段是这样的：
A：What are the school rules,Alex?
B:Well,we can't listen to music in the classrooms or hallways.But we can listen it in the music room.
A:Uh-huh.
B:And we can't eat in the classrooms,but we can eat in the dining hall.
A:Oh.And can we wear a hat in class?
B:No,we can't wear hats.What else?Oh,you can't fight with anyone.That makes the teachers really unhappy.
A:I see...
问题有这么几个：
1.为什么是“listen to music"不是”listen to the music"?
2.为什么A在问句中是"wear a hat"后面的回答成了“wear hats?"
3.为什么是in class不是 in the class?
4.B的最后一句为什么是make the teachers？不能是"make teachers"吗
脑袋混了 ，冠词搞不清了..望高手指点！！

the 定冠词
1.用在名词前，表特指。
例：I bought a book yesterday. The book is very useful.(上文已提到的过的人或事）
Close the door,please.（说话人和听话人都有数的人或事）
The sun/sky/moon/world/universe(独一无二的事物名称前）（注：the stars，而space前不用冠词；a brilliant sun 灿烂的太阳---描绘性的定语修饰时用不定冠词）
The east/south(方位名词前）
The first/tallest(用在序数词或形容词最高级前）（注：a/an + 序数词--表示“又一、再一”，the + 序数词---表示“第……”）
The rich/poor/sick/wounded(用在形容词前，使其名词化）
The Smiths(史密斯夫妇或史密斯全家）
The Yellow River(普通名词构成的专有名词前）
Do you know who invented the telephone/computer?(发明物前）
Play the piano/violin/guitar(乐器前）
The dog is more sensitive to the smell than man (表类别，man表示“人类，全人类”）

跟不定冠词对比一下就可以很容易记住这些，还有就是要多做些题目，多记住一些固定搭配了。

in class 表示在上课,in the class表示在班级里

这个没有区别的，因为有a所以hat可以不要加s，没有a就要加s了
