其实《Casablanca》这首歌曲根本不是电影《卡萨布兰卡》中的音乐，歌词里出现多次的as time goes by才是《卡萨布兰卡》电影的主题曲《时光流逝》，而a kiss is not a kiss就是引用这首主题曲中的一句歌词。

歌曲的演唱者Bertie Higgins于1944年12月8日出生于佛罗里达州，Bertie身为职业音乐家，坚实的音乐基础使他在60年代早期的单独演唱能够脱颖而出，一鸣惊人。经过七十年代的酝酿，1982年他的首次演唱《卡萨布兰卡》实际上使他东山再起，因为这是他自1968年落寞以来在音乐上的又一次冒险。这首歌收录在他的1982年专辑《主要乐章》中，是1982年泛太平洋区的年度最佳歌曲。也是他唯一的成功之作（Key Largo除外）;这首歌曲由Bertie Higgins在 1986年录唱，又收录在1994年的唱片《Then end now》中。
