Currently, there is a trend that people in countryside and small towns crazily crowd into big cities. They desire to find a happy life or copy other’s happy life. Thus, people wonder whether a person can become successful more easily in cities than in rural areas. Arguments have appeared and opinions are divided. However, I disagree with this point that people can succeed more easily than in countryside. My reasons are listed as follows. First of all, there are fewer opportunities for success in cities. Urbanization is developing rapidly these years. More universities graduates want to find jobs. People who come from the countryside can not compare with those who graduated from universities. On the other hand, nowadays, the machines used in companies are becoming more and more complicated so that countryside people can not learn how to use them. For these reasons, people who live in cities will have little chance to succeed. Furthermore, people can not afford the high price of houses in cities. Currently, the house-price in cities is higher and higher, especially the center of the city. Although the government has taken lots of polities to control the price, most people still can not have a house to settle down in.Some workers even take their families to cities. As a result, living problem becomes a big burden. Besides, the land in cities is limited so that the number of houses is also limited. Thus, even one has enough money for a house; he also may not buy a house. Finally, the rapid urbanization makes the air dirtier than before. More cars, more people, and fewer plants make the environment worse and worse. Most rich people even considered to live in the countryside with beautiful scenery and clear air. So many people who live in cities would like to eat in the countryside and feel the nature. Because of these, countryside people have more chance to be successful. For example, they can enjoy many programs which can not be seen in cities, such as boating, fishing, or barbecue.These activities surely attract more city people to consume in the countryside. In addition, people living in the countryside can fully use the resources around them and do not need to pay extra money for all these.Therefore, people living in the countryside will not have no chance to succeed. In a word, becoming successful does not depend on where you are and what you do. Success relies on whether you concentrate on one thing.Thus, in my opinion, I agree that people who live in countryside can get successful easier.
