英语名词加S~~~~

Question

what is becoming obvious is that the exsiting banking system is not powerful enought to handle the huge global capital flows that come out of it

global capital flows 这里flows为什么要加s？还有类似的列子吗

　　that come out of it 定语从句，修饰flows。it指代the exsiting banking system
　　capital flows：资本流动
　　capital：资本，资金

　　flow作名词常用单数（C, usually sing.）:
　　stop the flow of blood 止血
　　an endless flow of refugees into this country 不断涌入这个国家的难民
　　the air flow 气流

　　这里用复数形式也许可以解释为“多条资金流动”，但是正规词典上都是表明usually sing.的。但是“常用单数”不能否定用复数的正确性，用单数更符合习惯而已。

　　所以这里flow用单用复都莫有错的。

这儿的flow既可以为可数名词，又可以为不可数名词。当flow翻译为水流时不可数，但在这句里翻译为流动时可数。
就像experience，翻译为经验不可数，翻译为经历就可数了。necessity，翻译为必要性不可数，翻译为必需品就可数了。beauty，翻译为美不可数，翻译为美人就可数了。youth，翻译为青春不可数，翻译为青年人就可数了。
