    • Can someone give me another word of ' from ancient to nowadays'?thanks very much.

    ancient释义：adj. 远古的, 年老的, 旧的；n. 老人, 年高德劭者；古代人；
    常用.adj，做名词讲只有“古人”之意。
    故from ancient to nowadays应为“from ancient times to nowadays”；
    其他的表达方式有：“since ancient times”、“from ancient times until/till today/now”、“now as ever”、“throughout history/historically”、“from antiquity to the present”……

    Mercial意为”贸易的；商业的”，而前缀im-+.adj表“非、不、无”，这样推断如果immerical存在，其应表“非商业的/非贸易的、无商业的/非贸易的”，为形容词词性，则“since/from the immerical”的表达与上from ancient to nowadays错误一致，如果该说法存在，应为since/from the immerical era/times（自无商业时代起）；
    实际上，immerical非常用词，可以说几乎未取用；而since/from the immerical era/times亦非常用表达，可以说几乎不存在这种表达（如有具体例证，欢迎探讨）；
