Research Methodology就是指研究方法，主要的研究方法有调查法、观察法、文献研究法、定性分析法、定量分析法等。
1、调查法
调查法是科学研究中最常用的方法之一。它是有目的、有计划、有系统地搜集有关研究对象现实状况或历史状况的材料的方法。调查法综合运用历史法、观察法等方法以及谈话、问卷、个案研究、测验等科学方式，对教育现象进行有计划的、周密的和系统的了解，并对调查搜集到的大量资料进行分析、综合、比较、归纳，从而为人们提供规律性的知识。
调查法中最常用的是问卷调查法。
2、观察法
观察法是指研究者根据一定的研究目的、研究提纲或观察表，用自己的感官和辅助工具去直接观察被研究对象，从而获得资料的一种方法。科学的观察具有目的性和计划性、系统性和可重复性。
3、文献研究法（查找文献法）
文献研究法是根据一定的研究目的或课题，通过调查文献来获得资料，从而全面地、正确地了解掌握所要研究问题的一种方法。文献研究法被广泛用于各种学科研究中。
其作用有：①能了解有关问题的历史和现状，帮助确定研究课题。②能形成关于研究对象的一般印象，有助于观察和访问。③能得到现实资料的比较资料。④有助于了解事物的全貌。
4、定量分析法
在科学研究中，通过定量分析法可以使人们对研究对象的认识进一步精确化，以便更加科学地揭示规律，把握本质，理清关系，预测事物的发展趋势。
5、定性分析法
定性分析法就是对研究对象进行“质”的方面的分析。具体地说是运用归纳和演绎、分析与综合以及抽象与概括等方法，对获得的各种材料进行思维加工，从而能去粗取精、去伪存真、由此及彼、由表及里，达到认识事物本质、揭示内在规律。
