首先观点要明确，最好在首段摆明自己的观点。
如果英语不好的话，句子尽量简单，不要犯语法错误。在此基础上，再加上几句壮语从句等，相信作文分不会低的！
文章要分段，不要长片大论，否则老师要晕的。首尾呼应也是个不错的方法。

有的朋友在碰到外宾的时候就会说“You go first”，这句话可会使人感到不舒服———◆中式英语我经常在国内的一些商业场合的某一扇门上看到这样的中英文并写的牌子“宾客止步/Guest Stop”。
这种写法语法上虽然讲得通，但是在英语国家是不可能出现的。因为让客人Stop，这是一种非常不礼貌的说法，会令人家无法接受。
通常的说法是 “Staff Only”。我们国内的朋友之所以把宾客止步翻译成Guest Stop 显然是简单套用了中文的词句，而忽视了英文的表达习惯。
单从字面上来讲，把“宾客止步”翻译成“Guest Stop”比把“好久不见”翻译成“Long time no see”更符合语法。但是“Long time no see”却能被英语世界接受，因为“Long time no see”只是与英语的传统语法不符，但是没有文化冲突。
而“Guest Stop”却不能被接受是因为文化上的冲突。西方文化强调个体被尊重，走与停是我的选择凭什么听你吆喝？你最多告诉人家：这个门是为员工设计的（表示不方便请您进来）。
客人就明白了也不会进去了，如果你对人家喊停，就有点像吆喝牲口一样显得太过分了。还有一个例子：我们中国人在通过门口的时候，为了表示谦让通常会说，“您先请”，或者“您先走”。

那么“您先走”在英文中应该如何表达呢，正确的表达方式应该是“After you”，意思是我在您后面走。没有用到祈使句，人家会觉得舒服多了。
这句话的潜台词是“我会等您走过去我再走，但是走与不走是您自己的决定，我没有任何对您指挥的意思”。英美人的思维方式和我们相反，我们的词语总是针对对方，英美人的用词用语尽量不针对对方，而是针对自己。
以上两个例子都是这一类。在与外宾交往的过程中值得特别注意。

1、化繁为简。无论看到何种形式的题目，不管有多复杂，考生都应充分利用自身的生活经验、认知水平和想象能力，将所提供的文字、图片、表格等材料进行快速整合，并以自己熟悉的语言将内容要点加以重组。由于高考命题原创性的特点，考生很可能是第一次看到那种特定的命题方式，但对书面表达写作内容肯定会是比较熟悉的。考生应细读题目说明，通过对图片与文字的分析形成文章的主线，并将思路锁定在这些主线中展开。例如，图片告诉了我们什么？（What's the picture about？）你对图中反映的现象看法是什么？（What do you think of the picture？）考生不仅要看到图片的表面现象，而且要读懂命题者想表达的深层含义，并根据要求写作，力争做到简明扼要（Brief and to the point）。
2、化简为优。要使自己的书面表达分数上一个档次，表达中就需要多个亮点。考生在写作时，除了要注意内容的完整性、上下文的连贯性，语言的得体性，还要考虑语法结构的多样性和词汇运用的准确性，使文章达到优美的境地。在用词方面，语言驾驭能力较强的学生应尽量学会同义转化，用新学会的表达替代大家都会使用的简单的表达方式。例如：The entrance examination is round the corner / drawing near (=ing soon). 再如：However, not everyone is enthusiastic about (= is interested in) carpooling. 其中 ing soon 和be interested in属于十分普通的词汇，比较适合需要拿保险分的学生。而round the corner或drawing near以及be enthusiastic about使用率大大低于前者。如果考生使用这样的词汇，阅卷老师定会在众多类似表达中，眼睛一亮，印象加分。同时，句子也要讲究结构艺术。全文句式比较单一的书面表达一般很难得高分，在最后冲刺阶段，考生可整理出若干自己能够驾轻就熟的句型结构，如各类主从复合句、倒装句、强调句、感叹句、并列句、被动语态、非谓语动词、虚拟语气、it作形式主语或形式宾语的句型等等。
3、化干为润。“润”的要诀之一是给句子添加“润滑剂”。有些考生的书面表达似乎涵盖了所有内容要点，句子的正确率也可以，但总是得不到高分。究其原因，主要是考生仅限于将内容要点逐句翻译，并不关注上下文的衔接。这样的文章让人读起来感觉唐突或干涩，或者句子结构显得单调乏味，或者在句与句、段与段之间缺乏一定的连接词和过渡语。考生应从行文的实际需要出发，强化连接词和过渡语的运用意识。如表示转折时，可用however, while, nevertheless, unfortunately, on the other hand, on the contrary；表示因果关系时，可用for this reason, as a result, in this way, because of, therefore等等；“润”的要诀之二是将英文字母写得“圆润”一点。一旦你的书写让阅卷老师产生审美疲劳，以致影响他们欣赏你文章的情绪，被多降低一个档次也是有可能的；“润”的要诀之三就是最后对全文进行短文纠错。考生完成写作后，必须通读全文。对自己的文章进行一次短文纠错，特别注意“S+V”（主语+谓语）规律，尽量避免出现“无主句”（verbs without subjects）、“软骨句”（sentences without verbs ）、“截肢句”（only clauses are presented），或者“张冠李戴句”（verbs with the wrong subjects）等各类大小错误，争取不让可以避免的错误卡住阅卷教师的思路，使自己的文章显得干涩难懂。
