其他 In my opinion, Tree Planting Day is not our nation's traditional festival, more like a give a formalization of the National holiday. Like our school, every profession out of 120, one of 100 tree seedlings, tree card 20. I do not know planted a tree, then hung up at a card bearing the tree for a certain school grade certain types of certain professions little significance. Proud of it? Who knows. The tree you know.
Do not talk about other things now that are tree-planting festival, it should promote the participation of all in, now represented, and those representatives come from? Everybody want to go to the original, because species of the tree, when the moral evaluation of the future can be a plus, when places are limited, we determined by ballot, so a small number of people went to the tree, most people were only funded. It may be argued that a small number of people to participate in the operation, the majority of people in the spirit of enjoyment.
Good, even if everyone is to plant trees, and the meaning of what? One-day tree-planting will be able to get 364 days of the damage? When planting force fuck a hoe in hand, waving it at unskilled under another spade, and then remain in a mess and the grass being trampled, loudly exclaim: "I am a tree-planting." Leaders are advertised at Green End from around start after North Korea清了清嗓子spit on the ground口痰one time, as well as bystanders, we sigh.
It is undeniable that the promotion of Green Tree Planting Day has meaning, the meaning is to set up at the other 364 days of love, people can do is really very small. Advocate is a good thing, the slogan has been, at which it bread? Forever bread is far more realistic than a slogan.
When a very meaningful day to become a very formalism, we degenerate the Tree Planting Day, the Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Tree Planting Day metamorphism, and therefore will not Tree Planting Day Tree Planting Day.

美国植树节
Arbor Day was started in Nebraska. Before the 19th century, Nebraska was a barren wasteland with few trees, dry land and high winds.

1872 Julius sterling moulton, a prominent American agronomist, proposed that Nebraska establish Arbor Day to mobilize people to plant trees in a planned way.

At that time, the state agriculture bureau adopted the proposal by resolution, and the governor set the third Wednesday in April as Arbor Day every year thereafter. Millions of trees were planted that year.

In the 16 years since, another 600 million trees have been planted, finally turning Nebraska's 100,000 hectares of wilderness into a dense forest.

In recognition of moulton's achievements, in 1885 the state legislature officially established April 22, Mr. Moulton's birthday, as the annual Arbor Day, and a day off.

The national Arbor Day committee was established in 1972 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of tree planting. Every state has Arbor Day.

The first Arbor Day took place on April 10, 1872 in Nebraska. It was the brainchild of Julius Sterling Morton (1832-1902), a Nebraska journalist and politician originally from Michigan. Throughout his long and productive career, Morton worked to improve agricultural techniques in his adopted state and throughout the United States when he served as President Grover Cleveland's Secretary of Agriculture. But his most important legacy is Arbor Day.

Morton (photo, right) felt that Nebraska's landscape and economy would benefit from the wide-scale planting of trees. He set an example himself planting orchards, shade trees and wind breaks on his own farm and he urged his neighbours to follow suit. Morton's real opportunity, though, arrived when he became a member of Nebraska's state board of agriculture. He proposed that a special day be set aside dedicated to tree planting and increasing awareness of the importance of trees. Nebraska's first Arbor Day was an amazing success. More than one million trees were planted. A second Arbor Day took place in 1884 and the young state made it an annual legal holiday in 1885, using April 22nd to coincide with Morton's birthday.

In the years following that first Arbor Day, Morton's idea spread beyond Nebraska with Kansas, Tennessee, Minnesota and Ohio all proclaiming their own Arbor Days. Today all 50 states celebrate Arbor Day although the dates may vary in keeping with the local climate. (State Arbor Days) At the federal level, in 1970, President Richard Nixon proclaimed the last Friday in April as National Arbor Day. Arbor Day is also now celebrated in other countries including Australia. Variations are celebrated as 'Greening Week' of Japan, 'The New Year's Days of Trees' in Israel, 'The Tree-loving Week' of Korea, 'The Reforestation Week' of Yugoslavia, 'The Students' Afforestation Day' of Iceland and 'The National Festival of Tree Planting' in India. Julius Sterling Morton would be proud. Sometimes one good idea can make a real difference.

For the homeowner, Arbor Day is an excellent opportunity to take stock of the trees on your property and plan for the future. Inspect your trees. Note any broken branches or evidence of disease or insect infestation. Think about how planting new trees might improve the look of your property or provide wind or heat protection. Take a trip to your local nursery to see what's available and to get new ideas. Walk around your neighbourhood. Are there any public areas where tree planting or tree maintenance might make a real difference to your community? Talk with your neighbours. Find out what their opinions are. And, oh yes, plant a tree.本回答被提问者采纳
