除非有将来的时间要用一般将来时外，其它用一般现在时态较好。

例如： Will you go to see your English teacher next Sunday with me?

      What do you think about my article on sports?  ( 无将来时间）

1.如果是询问收信人的意见，可以用以下说法：
Would you please give me some advice on the matter?---您能就此事给我一些建议吗？
I would be much obliged if you could give me some advice on the matter.---若您能就此事给我一些建议，我将不胜感激。
2.如果是在信中叙述自己曾询问过某人的意见，则可以说
I've asked XXX's opinion on the matter. And he/she ….
