This summer holiday, I went to Dalian with my family. We got there by air. Dalian is a very beautiful and modern city. On the bus, we could see all kinds of buildings which were great.
In the morning, we got to the hotel where we lived. After breakfast, we began to our travel. First we took the bus to the Sea Park. There are so many different kinds of fishes that I couldn’t believe my eyes. We also saw the show of dolphins. Then we had lunch in a restaurant. The seafood which was very famous in China was delicious.
After lunch we went swimming. The sea was blue and beach was golden. We all enjoyed ourselves in the sea. Finally we went back the hotel where we lived. We had a happy day.
In this trip, we also went to some places which were interesting and famous in Dalian, went shopping and so on.
Several days later, we left Dalian. On our way home, we were very happy. This was the reason why we didn’t feel tired. In all, we had a good holiday.

Persistence and dreams
We all want to believe that we are capable of great feats,of reaching our fullest potential.We need dreams .They give us a vision of a better future ;they nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even then we are dragged down by reality.They keep us going .Most successful people are dreamers. Dreamers are not content with being merely ordinary,because no one ever dreams of going halfway.
I believe every one of us had big and splendid dreams during our childhood.But nearly none of them have come true today,or we even have forgotten all about them.Why comes the fact like that?Many factors contribute to this complicated question,but I just want to stress one point today ,that is persistence.
If we would ever accomplish anything in life,let us do not forget that we must persevere. If we would learn our lessons in school,we must be diligent and not give up whenever we come to anything difficult.We shall find many of our lessons very hard,but let us consider that the harder they are the better they will do to us if we will persevere and learn them thoroughly.
But there are some among us who are ready to give up when they come to a hard example in math,and say, “I can’t do this .”They never will if they feel so . “I can’t”never does anything worthwhile;but “I will try ”accomplishes wonders.Let us remember that we shall meet with difficulties all through life.They are in the pathway of everyone.If we will only try and keep trying,we shall be sure to conquer and overcome every difficulty we meet with.If we have a hard lesson today,let us strive to learn it well and then we shall be prepared for a harder one tomorrow.And if we learn to master hard lessons in school,it will prepare us to overcome the hard things that we shall meet in life,when our school days are over.
Sometimes your greatest asset is simply your ability to stay with it longer than anyone else.You cannot control what happens to you,but you can control your attitude toward what happens to you,and in that,you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you.And the persistence is the basic attitude towards your dreams.
Leave all the excess baggage of yesterday’s mistakes and dare to enter into all the tomorrow.Leave yesterday to history and resolve to begin fresh each new day daring to make dreams become a reality.
Dreams cannot be bought,sold,nor traded.Dreams are the part of us that no one else can claim right to posses.Dreams are what keep life full of passion ad vitality!
Do not allow others to define who we are or what our desires may be .when we allow others to define or boundaries,we become the limits others have imposed upon us.Our dreams are our own and belong to no one else .Never admit defeat to a wasted life by forsaking your dreams!Dreams are complex and take years to accomplish,while holding onto the simplicity of a very young child.Not just the successfully rich and famous have a right to their dreams.Chase after them as the wind!Please keep dreaming and never give up on yourself.
