表示年龄的复合形容词仅用作定语修饰名词。比如：

He is a fifteen-year-old boy.

“at (the) age (of)…”表示“在…年龄”，多用作状语。比如：

At (the) age （of） fifteen, he went to an art school.

他十五岁时上了一所艺术学校。

“in+one’s+整十数的基数词复数形式”表示“…多岁了”。比如：
