距离最短的路线：重庆市走包茂高速到大铺子互通右转银百高速，到贵州省瓮安县直走道新高速，到凯里市进入沪昆高速，到麻江县直走兰海高速，到广西自治区合浦县右转柳北高速直到北海市。全程1159公里，约需行驶13小时58分，过路费582元。

这个行程如果不赶的话10到14天左右是没问题的，如果耍得紧凑点话8天吧！其实北海的风情港街那个刨冰超级好吃，等你再去其它地方吃，已经觉得不是那个味了，北海有些景点可以去，可惜上次因为时间有限，很多景点没去，就直接上岛了，涠洲岛千万 不要去体验什么出港打鱼，贵不说，不安全！还不如直接去南湾市场买！当时我们没开车上岛，直接把车停在上船旁边的停车场，价格便宜，还有人看守，如果你想把车开上岛也可以，具体怎么办理，你要问问其他人了，如果会骑电瓶车的话最好不开车上岛，就租电瓶车，因为那个路不是很宽敞，骑电瓶、三轮车的很多！
