比较级跟最高级
形容词的比较级跟最高级的变换大家基本上都是没问题了，但是要注意用到的话一定要确保正确，变化的规则51due在这边小提一下：
1.
单音节直接加-er
e.g. long - longer （1 syllable + er）
2.
双音节并以y结尾的，变y为i再加-er，即-ier
e.g. early - earlier （2 syllable and y - ier）
3.两个或者两个以上音节的，在形容词前面加more表示更多，less表示更少
e.g. tired - more tired， less tired
beautiful - more beautiful， less beautiful
4.表示程度大小的，在形容词的比较级前面再加much，a bit等
stronger weaker
much a bit
far a little
a lot slightly
副词的比较级在前面加more 或者less
e.g. more slowly， more often
less quickly， less frequently
表示一样多的 as + adjective + as （noun）
as + adverb + as （verb）
比较名词的多少，分为可数与不可数，表示多的均加more，少的，不可数加less，可数加fewer
最高级：the + adj + -est
NB：people in family - old-elder-eldest
另外一个重要的语法点是用来表示对比的词语。这些包括连词，介词，副词等，提示注意词性是因为不同的词连接的语法结构是不一样的，如果不注意的话，即使用得千变万化的词，也很容易造成语法错误，而且这些词用中文来解释意思可能差不多，但在英文的用法中会有一些区别。
e.g. but表示转折，and表示相似，连接前后是同样的成分，这两个词绝对不会单独开始一个句子。
还有就是英语有表示unexpected的词语跟只是表示对比，没有出乎意料意思的词，也不能混淆，这些用法将在以下列出，要好好体会并记住几个自己喜欢的，在用的过程中就可以运用自如了。

大部分中国留学生的comparison essay写作都喜欢通过nowady来作为开头，这样是非常容易被老师所不喜欢的，在一般情况下最好是能够以topic来作为论文的开头，尽量避免nowady的使用，如果有使用到相关的学术术语，最好是能够做到简洁明了，这也是检验学生论文写作水平的难点。
