calm、silence和quite是我经常会使用的三个词，这三个英文单词都可以用来表示"安静"，但是在含义和用法上其实是存在着区别的，具体如下：

相同点：三者都可以表示"安静的"。
不同点：calm是指精神上的冷静；silent 是指无声的安静；quiet 是指气氛的安静,安宁。
二：用法区分
quiet 是noisy的反义词,意思是“ 安静”（不吵闹）
calm adj.温和的,平静的 例如：The sea was calm.海面风平浪静.
宁静的,镇静的 如：She tried to remain calm.她设法保持镇静.
calm 还可以当动词用：calm down 使镇静（镇定,平静）下来,指海面风平浪静,人镇定
silence 沉默,不作声,闭口不提,例如：We walked on in silence.我们沉默地往前走.
His silence on the subject makes me nervous.他对这个问题保持缄默,令我紧张不安.

silent 表示 安静,相对于噪音而言 keep silent 保持安静
quiet 表示 寂静 ,相对于声音而言 everything around is quiet.周围一片寂静
