想问一个关于WHICH用法的小问题

写作文的时候有时候which修饰第一个词、有时候是修饰前面那个词、有时候是修饰整个句子、那是不是都是那样句子后面加which然后再加一个句子、三种修饰的which的用法有区别么、因为的英语比较差、求通俗的回答、最好可以举几个例子

你说的是 which 引导定语从句的情况
第一种 最常见 也就是 which 紧跟在 所修饰的名词 后 修饰这个名词
如 this is the place which i visited last year .这是我去年参观过的地方。
第二种 是分隔式 定语从句 也就是 which 引导的定语从句 与所修饰的名词之间 插入了其他句子成分
如 i visited the place yesterday which i worked in ten years ago.
昨天我参观了 我十年前 工作过的地方 。
第三种 用逗号隔开 修饰前面整个句子 这属于非限制性定语从句
如 he must be a foreigner, which can be seen from his skin.
他一定是一个外国人，这一点 可以从他的皮肤 上看出。
