I still remember my first week on school , which was really exciting. in that week, i met a great many of new friends, learned how to adapt life in school .
firstly, I met some new friends, who were really helpful and kind-hearted. Actually, I was not good at math, my friends comforted me, and thus, i was beome more conficident. what is more, we decided to help each other during the school hour.
secondly, i realized more about the new life in school. At the school always told us to be more careful about safety and study, as well as told us some study strategies and therefore, i made great improvement.
Last but not the least, i read the new books. these were different from the previous ones, and more interesting. basically, we could learn more knowledge then.

On behalf of the graduating masters and doctoral students of Washington
University's School of Engineering and Applied Science, I would like to thank
all the parents, spouses, families, and friends who encouraged and supported us
as we worked towards our graduate degrees. I would especially like to thank my
own family, eight members of which are in the audience today. I would also like
to thank all of the department secretaries and other engineering school staff
members who always seemed to be there when confused graduate students needed
help. And finally I would like to thank the Washington University faculty
members who served as our instructors, mentors, and friends.
