（1）用法
1、动词be的形式
如果是一般过去时，就用was/were；如果是一般现在时，就用am/is/are。
如果是一般将来时，就用will be然后看主语的人称及单复数形式。
一般过去时：第一人称和第三人称的单数形式，则用was第一人称和第三人称的复数，或第二人称，则用were。
一般现在时：第一人称单数形式，用am第三人称单数形式，用is第一人称和第二人称的复数形式，或第二人称，则用are一般将来时：will be。
2、就近原则
There be句型的就近原则也是主谓一致语法项目的重点考点。There be句型中be动词的单复数形式由后面挨近的一项的单复数决定。
例如：There is a pen,two books and many pencils on the desk.桌子上有一支钢笔，两本书，和许多铅笔。
在本句中尽管有钢笔、书和铅笔,但是由于离be动词最近的一项是单数a pen，因此，be动词用单数is。
又如：there is a book and three cats.有一本书和三只猫。反过来，there are three cats and a book.有三只猫和一本书。
（2）注意事项
1、在句式的使用上，注意整体文章的时态，从而决定There be的时态。
2、注意在使用过程中be动词的时态。
3、There be句型的就近原则的使用。

1、There be 结构可以有一般现在时，一般过去时，将来时和完成时。
例如：
一般现在时：There are some books on the desk。桌子上有一些书 。
一般过去时：There was an accident last night.昨晚发生了一个事故。
将来时：There will be a good wheat crop this year. 今年小麦将有一个好收成。

2、there可和各种助动词或情态动词连用。
