三、dictionary的用法
1、dictionary可以用作名词dictionary的基本意思是“词典，字典”，指按一定顺序如字母表等排列的，包括拼写、发音、词性、词形变化、释义、用法及词源等方面内容的工具书。
2、在表示查字典时，dictionary须用动词consult，search，turn up或use，不可用look for，look for的宾语可以是词，但不可以是“词典”。
3、在表示关于某方面的词典时，dictionary后面接介词of，而不接介词on，about。
