正确答案是D,但我觉得C也说得通啊
3. The water works was put up in 2004.一句中的works是不是工程的意思,还有put up是什么意思?

正确答案C,我选B,是不是因为every的关系,所以用单数?那么each呢?
5. The Germans kept those _____in a secret place.
A. prisoners-of-war D.prisoner-of-war
正确答案A我选D,我们不是都说three-storey-high building的么?
6. Nobody but Jack and Dick ____in the lab last night.
A. were B. was
正确答案B我选A,昨晚在实验室中的不是两个人么?

advice建议，不可数名词，不加冠词a。an

3. The water works was put up in 2004.一句中的works是不是工程的意思,还有put up是什么意思? works,常用复数来表示作品著作。

4. Every book except these two_______
A.have sold B. have been sold C.has been sold D.has sold
正确答案C,我选B,是不是因为every的关系,所以用单数?那么each呢?
every后面用单数啊 ，each也是单数。

5. The Germans kept those _____in a secret place.
A. prisoners-of-war D.prisoner-of-war
正确答案A我选D,我们不是都说three-storey-high building的么?
这个跟你说的那个不一样啦，你说的这个是做形容词用的，而本题中的prisoners-of-war是名词，战犯的意思。。因为是those，所以要用复数，中心词是prisoner，所以要加s

6. Nobody but Jack and Dick ____in the lab last night.
A. were B. was
正确答案B我选A,昨晚在实验室中的不是两个人么?
but解释为除了。。句子的主语应该是nobody。。。
nobody was in the lab last night but jack and dick.这样你就不会做错勒

正确答案D我选A,恩这道题我觉得很奇怪,如果说是All are going except Tom and Jerry.是可以的吧?那为什么换成he and I就要改成him and me呢?
he和i是主格，只能用在主语的位置。。

我们中文说jennifer的很多朋友要来，在英语中，中心词是friends，many和jennifer都是定语而已，c选项不符合英语的语序

正确答案B,我也知道AD其实是一样的,C也不对,B虽然是正确答案,但总是感觉怪怪的。
一般来说如果要做one的物主代词，没有明确说明男女的话his和her都行，D不行，因hers是名词性物主代词。所以直接用one's就行勒

10.一般什么时候用who,什么时候用whom?
比如说这道____ did you say would understand it?就用who不用whom?
还有这道Give it to ____needs it.就用whoever不用whomever?
who主格，whom宾格
第一句话中did you say 是插入语，把它省略后，变成who would understand it？who 在这句子中做主语，很明显吧
第二句也一样啊 ，whoever引导个宾语从句，但他在句中又充当主语。

11. Mr.Wang is very strict with_____.

为什么答案是B不是A?这个还是一样的问题，主格宾格。

advice如果前加不定冠词要用a picec of!put up是完工的意思！each也用单数！主语是nobody!except在这里的用法等同于both..and...在涉及到我和另一个人且不作主语的时候，只能用me,并且me一定要放在第二位！did you say 是插入语，可以忽略！所以要填的部分是主语！____needs it.是宾语补足语，而在这句补足语中缺少的又是主语，所以用whoever!
