Number One
This week, I spent a lot of time with my family. We had some family meals together. Everyone helped with the cooking. My mom made the more complicated dishes. I cut the vegetables and meat, and did other preparation work. My dad bought the materials and ingredients. It was fun to cook together. It made me feel good to be an active participant in my family.
Number Two
I like watching TV. When I finish my winter break homework, I spend some time watching TV. My favorite TV show is "She Jian Shang De Zhong Guo". I think it is really cool to see the local foods from different parts of my country. I become really excited and happy whenever the show starts. My mom says to me jokingly that I am glued to the TV.
Number Three
Sometimes I like to take a walk outside. If any of my friends has free time too, we go go the park together. It is nice to be surrounded by nature, and to look at the birds, trees, and the sky. It is good to take a break from studying and being indoors. Sometimes it is very refreshing to be a in different environment.
Number Four
My favorite sport is volleyball. If I have time, then I practice volleyball. My volleyball partners are not always available, so sometimes I practice on my own. I bump the ball against a wall. It is good to stay healthy by exercising. I make sure to take a shower if I sweat.
Number Five
Sometimes I miss school. It is easy to feel lonely if I don't have classmates to talk to. It is more exciting to go to class and have more structure. There are more people at school, and I could be surrounded by more people.
