IN English we can describe a story as "a successful story"or"a success story'.Do you think they mean the same?Please explain and give your reasons.

A successful story means that the story is successful in the sense that it touches the readers or at least impresses the readers in some way.
A success story is a story that describes a success. The story itself may not be successful. Only the content of the story is about some success.本回答被提问者采纳

They don't mean the same thing. While "A successful story" refers to a story that is successful, "a success story" refers to a story that is describing someone who becomes successful. In "a successful story", the adjective "successful" is describing the story itself. In "a success story", the noun success refers to the story's content.
