应该是three score of people（六十个人）,three score of sth.,sth.(主要指一些代词，和表示数量的名词，如，people,them,teachers等等）
另外scores of sth. 是很多的意思，如scores of people 是

用three score （of） people

score作数量词“20”解时，与数词连用用单数形式，如；
four score （of） years ago (80年前)
但若只跟of搭配而没有数词时，则用复数形式。如：
scores of people 好几十人
