1. 从引导词判断
定语从句的引导词只有，that,who, whom, which, whose, why, where, when
状语从句的引导词有很多，if,when,where, unless, because,....
2. 如果出现when和where两个从句都可以用的引导词，when能翻译成"当"就是状语从句；翻译成“...的”就是定语从句；where翻译成”在...的地方”就是状语从句；翻译成“...的”就是定语从句
如：I had a wonderful holiday （when I was in China）. 当我在中国的时候
I will remember the days （when I traveled in China）. 我在中国旅游的
I remember （where I met you）. 我遇见你的地方
