During my winter holiday, my father drove me to my hometown for a visit.
On a sunny morning when there were still stars in the sky we started off
on the way. Entering the highway we were lucky to find there was less
traffic on it and very soon we reached the exit for our hometown.
Leaving the highway, we entered the local roads where the scenery
attracted my attention. On both sides of the roads, there are tall trees or
smart cottages with the same facades lining up as if to greet us.
On seeing my grandma, the fatigue caused by the distance travel
had completely vanished. Now she is no more sitting in a wheelchair
but moving about here and there simply by herself with a wooden stick
in her right hand. She had marvelously recovered from her bad fall years
ago. My grandma is 84 years old but she still looks healthy and strong.
It would be our happiness if she could live up to over 100 years.
On the way back home, I felt overjoyed not only because of the
native products offered to us by our relatives but also the healthy recovery
of my Grandma and the happy life the local people are living nowadays.本回答被网友采纳
