Every lunar 15th, August is the traditonal Mid-Autumn Festival.As it is in the middle of autumn it is called Mid-autumn Festival.The moon on 15th August is bigger and brighter than the full moon in other months. In the evenning when look up the moon which is bright as jade and round as a plate, people will naturally expect a family reunion. The family memebers who travel abroad will also rest their longing of their hometown and relatives on the moon. Therefore Mid-Autumn Festival is also called reunion festival.
