It was in London.It had one of the thickest fogs in years.You could not see your hand in front of your face.Cars and buses ran very slowly with lights on,and their horns made a terrible noise.When evening came,it got even worse.All the traffic came to a stop.I had an important meeting on the other side of the town,so I had to walk there.
Minutes later I lost my way.Then I heard a young woman's voice ing out of the fog "I think you have lost your way.Can I help you?" I could hardly see her,but I was very glad to find another person in the fog.I told her where I wanted to go and she said she knew how to get there very well.
As I walked behind her through the dark street,I wondered how she found her way so easily,"But in such a fog it's difficult to see anything," I said,"With the fog or without the fog,it is the same to me.You see.I'm blind,“she answered.
