Noticed the girl standing at the platform, eyes shifting from here to there helplessly, the young carry-out boy asked politely if she needed any help.

Rowan, This question isn't as daft as some might think. There were a number of important films and film makers in 1912, D.W.Griffith among them. But the equipment of the time was still very hard to move around and was not available for ships like the Titanic.
