1. not...until...“直到......才......”

表示主句的动作直到until才发生。

如：She didn’t go to bed until she finished her homework.

2. until用在肯定句中“直到......为止”，谓语动词一般是延续性动词（延续性动词如live,stay,work,wait等）until可以用till替换。

如：I shall live here until/till she arrives.我将等到她回来为止。

The shop is open until 11 o’clock in the morning.这家店营业到上午11点为止。

He will be working until five o’clock.他将工作到五点钟为止。
