Gail and her dog, Sam, are standing at the street corner. They're waiting for the cars to go by. They want to go across the street. She is waiting for Sam to decide when they should cross.
Some blind people use special, trained dogs to help them tell when and where they would go. But not every dog can do it . A dog for the blind must be clever. The squirrel lives in a tree and it doesn’s venture far from it. At the first hint of danger it will climb up the tree quickly. Once on top it can leap from one branch to another confidently or even hangs upside down by its toes.
